Here's what's included in our 7 Steps to Delivering your Vision!

Step 1 - FREE initial consultation.

 

• We will ensure that during your FREE initial consultation you will be given the chance to see how we can deliver your Vision.
• You will walk away with concrete ideas on how your project can be achieved and with full confidence in how we at block architectsTM can deliver it.
• You will leave this consultation with direction and know that you have spoken with professional architects who have your peace of mind at the fore.

Step 2 - GUARANTEED Feasibility Service

 

• We will survey your existing property and provide you with a set of existing drawings
• We will then provide you with a set of drawings showing you your requirements and how your property will look
• We will keep reviewing the drawings until we have reached a solution which realises your Vision
• We Guarantee that initial set of drawings will be with you within 4 working weeks maximum or 25% of your fee back *(Projects under £1m construction cost)

Step 3 - Submission of Planning Application

 

• We will prepare all of the drawings and ensure that they are made ready for Planning submission
• We will attend to all administration matters including application form completion and neighbour notifications
• We will keep in constant dialogue with the Local Authority - You don't have to do a single thing!
• We will keep you appraised of progress at key intervals
• We will ensure that all Approvals are sent to you direct from our office and then lead you forward

Step 4 - Submission of Building Warrant Application

 

• We will inform you of any other professionals you may require to employ e.g Structural Engineer
• Again, We will ensure that all drawings and specifications are prepared and noted ready for Building Warrant
• Again, We will attend to all administration matters including application form completion and neighbour notifications
• Again, We will keep in constant dialogue with the Local Authority - You don't have to do a single thing!
• Again, We will keep you appraised of progress at key intervals

Step 5 - Obtaining costs from Contractors

 

• We will obtain for you a minimum of 3 quotation from professional builders
• We will provide all Drawings ready for your Contractors pricing
• We will ensure that your builder is working from a recognised form of Scottish Contract
• We will assist you in the proper appointment of a Contractor to ensure that you have an exit route should anything go wrong

Step 6 - FREE pre-start meeting between block architects and your Contractor

 

• We will meet with your builder and ensure that he understands the work which he is undertaking
• We offer an opportunity for any last minute questions about the build
• Your builder can then get on with the works

Step 7 - Inspection of the works on site

 

• We will cleanse any of the Planning Conditions
• We will advise of the Start Date to the Local Authorities
• We suggest up to 10 visits required on residential projects
• Architectural Certification of the works is available
• We can monitor all of the costs on your behalf
• We can monitor the Contractor's programme of the works
• We can keep a constant dialogue between the Team
• We will obtain completion certification from Building Control
